Sir Jim Ratcliffe- why is he Man U's saviour all of a sudden?
All this talk in the media of him coming in and changing this and that, installing HIS people and getting them back on track to glory.

Bloke only has a 25% share of ownership. He can't do fuck all at the moment unless the Glazers say so. Is this a full takeover upcoming or is it just the usual Man U wankfest media hype as usual when someone blows their nose there?

Zico

2003: The Glazers buy a 2.9 percent stake in the club for about $5.6m.

2005: The family executes a leveraged buyout of the club at $1.5bn, securing 98 percent of the shares. The Glazers borrowed the money using the assets of the company as collateral, leaving the club in $787m of debt from the takeover.

Spent more money than any other club on the PLANET.! Over the past decade. Fergie didn't spoil them. He fucking deluded them.

I can see what the fans grumble was with Woodward but why is there such hate for the Glazers because it's not as if purse strings were tightened and there hasn't been any money to spend it's just that recruitment has been pretty horrendous. I was surprised actually that Fergie wanted Moyes. Always thought he would have had someone below him for a few years learning the job similar to Ron handing over to John.

totally agree, I think they're a long way off and as you say, he will have very little say. looks like a divided dressing room too, no idea if their fans will have the patience for a long rebuild, they were too spoilt under fergie
